Not sure which beginner guide is the best one? This is it. I will explain in detail in what order you should upgrade and produce things in your first days of playing. I will assume you don't purchase any gold. After you are finished with the Tutorial you should build and upgrade things in the following order: 1. Upgrade roads to level 2 to reach from Town Hall to Vegetable production farm. 2. Upgrade Wood, Stone and Vegetable production buildings to level 2. 3. Upgrade roads to level 2 to reach from Town Hall to the rest of the Houses. 4. Build a Market across the road from the 2nd of the 3 rows of houses. 5. Upgrade the 3 houses in influence of the new Market to level 2. 6. Build a Police Station adjacent to the new Market (above it). 7. Build a School adjacent to the Police Station. 6. Upgrade the new Market to level 2. 7. Upgrade the other 3 houses to level 2. 8. Upgrade roads to level 2 to reach from Town Hall to the Meat production building. 9. Upgrade Meat production building to level 2. 10. Upgrade roads to level 3 to reach from Town Hall to Vegetable production farm. 11. Upgrade Wood, Stone and Vegetable production buildings to level 3. 12. Upgrade Houses adjacent to the new level 3 road to level 3. All of this should take about a week to accomplish. Look for my second article for what to do next :) DOs: - Keep producing workers in Town Hall as resources and housing space allow. This will allow you to upgrade and build faster. - Upgrading production buildings should be your first priority. Otherwise you will run out of Energy fast and won't be able to do as much. - Produce Wood, Stone, Vegetables and Meat as often as you can (when you are not able to upgrade the production buildings). You don't need Iron and Clay until later so producing them is a waste of Energy for now. - You can use Market to turn one type of resources into another if you need to but remember you lose some of them every time you do that so try to keep it to the minimum. DON'Ts - Do NOT build any new production buildings before the first ones are maxed out. - Do NOT build the Gold Mine too soon. The resources are better spent on other production buildings at first. - Do NOT recruit a Police Officer at first. It is not needed and a waste of resources.
